Robert Ripley of "Ripley's Believe it or Not" called Eureka Springs "One of the 10 most unusual cities in America". One of the reasons for this desigantion is the fact that of all the winding hilly streets in Eureka Springs, there are no perpendicular cross streets and not one stoplight.
